Situated in the popular residential condo of “Terraços de Tavira", this modern apartment has all the essential ingredients for the perfect holiday rental. Its well-equipped and cosy décor features a private internal atrium perfect for al fresco dining, all accompanied by a fabulous swimming pool and well-tended enclosed gardens. A short walk leads you to wonderful restaurants, artisan shops and the ferry boat to the golden sands and of Tavira Beach Island…all waiting to be explored and enjoyed.
The cosy interior offers its visitors a comfortable stay. With a single level layout, the accommodation flows easily from front to back. From the entrance you are welcomed into lounge diner with comfy seating and matching light oak furnishings including a rectangular dining table and chairs. An attractive glass-shelved partition separates the lounge from the kitchen where you will find a large range of utensils and appliances ensuring that home catering is free and easy. Tucked neatly at the back of the kitchen, a door leads to a private internal atrium which has table and chairs, perfect for cool breakfasts or warm evening dining. The 2 bedrooms include a master double room with a private shower room and an adjoining twin bedroom with a shared bathroom with bathtub and overhead shower. Nestled at the front of the apartment is a cool and shady patio, with bistro table and chairs ideal for enjoying a sundowner or two overlooking the lovely, green gardens. The large swimming pool complete with kids paddling pool makes a perfect respite from the sun, where kids can splash around all day, and adults can relax on one of the many sunbeds, all just a few meters from the apartment itself.
This is a private accommodation and guests will be able to access all advertised areas and use all advertised facilities. The apartment is ground floor. There are steps within the gardens to get to and from the main condo entrance. Parking is directly outside on the street, without a charge.
ARRIVING AT THE PROPERTY:
It is our intention to meet you in person at the property on your arrival to deliver the keys and welcome you. Some of our properties have key safety boxes and you will be informed of the code in advance, in which case you may be asked to check in alone and we will make a later courtesy visit at a mutually convenient time.
CHECK-IN TIMES:
Please note check-in times are between 16.00h and 19.00h and we will try to be flexible with arrival times outside of these hours. For early arrivals, it may be possible to offer a “bag drop” facility. For later arrivals, there may be the key safety box facility. If not, and we are required to meet you in person for a late-night check in, the following fees will apply:

When booking private accommodation, we like to give you privacy during your stay. However, Smartavillas fully trained personnel are available 24 hours per day should you need assistance of any kind. We are only a phone call away. As this property has a shared pool, please remember that the local pool maintenance team will be accessing the condominium grounds to ensure that the communal facilities are kept to a high standard.

ADDITIONAL CLEANING/SHEET CHANGE
As properties are rented on a self-catering arrangement, a daily maid and interim property cleaning service/linen change are not included in the price, but if required, can be provided for an additional charge. Further details available on request.
WE KINDLY REQUEST:
The house will be well presented for your arrival, and departure cleaning is included in the rental value. However, we do ask for a respectful co-operation with the removal of rubbish, and that BBQ facilities are cleaned of food and debris before you leave. Charges will be incurred if it is deemed that the property is left in an unacceptable condition.
DEPARTURE DAY:
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end! - and on departure day, check out time is requested at 10.00h. We will contact you towards the end of your stay to confirm this. We may be able to offer a later departure time only if there are no guests arriving on the same day. Unfortunately, however, this is unlikely in the summer months due to high volumes of reservations.
Terraços de Tavira is a prestigious residential zone located on the hillside overlooking the riverbanks of Tavira. The walk into town for shops, supermarkets and restaurrants is around 10 minutes, please note however that access is by stairs from the complex to the riverside which may not be ideal for elderly or walking difficulties. The use of a car is not essential. A taxi ride to and from the town is around 6 Euros.

The delightful attractions of Tavira are reached within a 15 minute walk, with colourful cobbled streets, the famed Roman bridge over the meandering Rio Gilão, and an intriguing historical quarter replete with handsome 17th century merchants’ mansions, fine churches and convents of architectural note all bidding for your attention. Castle ramparts have been faithfully restored housing beautiful gardens of indigenous and exotic varieties, while pretty squares edged with café terraces offer the perfect pre-text for lazy afternoons while watching the World pass by.
